Shannon Shelley, CNM

I am Shannon Shelley. I have been a Certified Nurse Midwife at Fort Sanders OBGYN since 2005. I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Carson Newman College and my Masters degree in Nurse Midwifery at Stony Brook University. I had that joy of delivering 370 babies. I view life as a pure miracle from conception though delivery. In 2010, I experienced the birth of my son allowing me to feel the greatest love I have ever known. Motherhood has been the biggest accomplishment of my life. I am married to my best friend. I also have a teenage stepson and two black labs. I love spending time with friends and family, fishing in the river and volunteering at my son's school. It is an incredible honor to be chosen as your provider. My philosophy is that women deserve choices and I strive to provide education to help them attain their healthcare needs.
