Bad Cramps
Most women experience some degree of cramping discomfort with their cycles. The over-the-counter pain relievers such as Tylenol, Motrin, and Alleve will typically relieve the discomfort. Unfortunately some women experience cramping that is much more severe. If over-the-counter medications do not relieve your discomfort or if you begin to experience a significant change in your cramps then you should consider making an appointment to discuss the problem. Although some women naturally experience more cramping than average this can also be a sign of infection or Endometriosis. Women with significant menstrual cramps may find relief with Birth Control Pills. Occasionally we have to consider Laparoscopic Surgery to treat Endometriosis with a Laser.
